INDIA’S LAND’S END IS A BOOKSHOP
The southern tip of mainland India is the town of Kanyakumari and its southernmost part are rock formations with a memorial dedicated to the Hindi philosopher and monk, Swami Vivekananda and a statue of the Tamil philosopher, Thiruvalluvar.
The south face of the Swami Vivekananda memorial is home to what they call a bookstall or a shop that sells literature published by Vivekananda Kedra, books related to Hindu philosophy, mythology and his guru – Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Here are a few images of the southern tip of the Indian mainland.
