Chowrasta, Darjeeling

The walls of Darjeeling have a lot of maps and that's something every city should have. They are mostly hand-drawn. The maps are not restricted to the city walls, you find them in most shops in the town too or atleast the ones a tourist like me visited. Many of them are hand drawn and copied. It was a pleasure looking at the different maps in different styles throughout the three days I spent in that lovely town. I hope that they will continue to draw and share maps for a long time to come.

And then there are other maps too, like these from the town's Tibetan camp
