Ooty Road, Mysore

It's common to see temples like these in the outskirts of Mysore City, usually among fields and next to irrigation tanks. They look abandoned but are used by the local farming communities during and after harvests for 'thanksgiving'.

But this one is apparently not one of them. This is one of the 'haunted' burial ground of the Mysore royal family.

St Philomena's Church, Mysore

Have you noticed pictures of children during prayers in a mosque? There's always a child standing and looking in the opposite direction, his mind in a world of its own. It's the same in churches too, like this little fellow dressed in his Sunday best, who followed his eyes filled with wonder and ended up examining a door. His father caught up with him soon enough and pulled him in.
